The construction of Casa das Letras – Rural Tourism in Peneda-Gerês took place over 50 years ago. It was an elementary school, where every day the letters circulated on the blackboards. In 2018, we appeared. We fell in love with the land and felt it was the ideal place to build the holiday home of our dreams. These walls have many stories to tell.

The house exceeded our (high) expectations. The decoration details make the house very welcoming. It has outdoor furniture for all meals and the pool has very good sun exposure. It is possible to go to buy bread by bicycle. The possibility of harvesting the vegetables (always fresh) from the garden is very nice. Ideal space to rest and with the possibility of visiting Gerês.
Surprisingly nice house and location. Comfort and well-being in every room. Young and friendly owners always available. Excellent option for a holiday with family or friends. We recommend and intend to repeat.
Fantastic local accommodation, with excellent conditions, as well as a good location. Well equipped house and well-prepared amenities (eg Grill and pool). The ideal to get out of the routine and enjoy with friends or family. Mr. André was a super kind and friendly person, always offering his help for whatever was needed. Certainly to repeat!
